Sediment Control on Unsealed Roads: a handbook of practical guidelines for improving stormwater quality

This handbook is a product of the 'Unsealed Roads Stormwater Project' and was initiated in an effort to protect stormwater quality in the Westernport catchment. The information in the handbook has been collected from field trials, experiments, literature searches and industry liaison and aims to provide quidance on best unsealed road maintanance practices. The recommended strategic management approach provides a solution to minimise the stormwater runn-off impacts from unsealed roads. Attached is also the technical report which was compiled from the findings of the 'Unsealed Roads Stormwater Project'.
