The Clearwater website provides avenues to facilitate external contributions to the Clearwater Resource Library and events via the Clearwater Administrator.

The Administrator reserves the right to exclude any information deemed to be product promotion or irrelevant to urban water management. Contributions may also be altered for editing and design purposes.

 

Users contributing a resource will have their name displayed as the author of the resource. All other contact details will not be disclosed, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Clearwater only collects personal information online when you choose to provide it, for example, in order to submit resources, register for an event, contribute to an event or have subscribed to receive Clearwater updates.

 

Clearwater will only e-mail registered users who have asked to receive e-mail updates/bulletins. Registered users can cancel this e-mail service offer at any time.

 

Use and disclosure of information

 

Information which a user posts on the website (including events and resources) will be available to the public. Otherwise, Clearwater will only use or disclose information about you for the purpose for which you provided it (e.g. to respond to a request for information).

Training and Events Calendar

Every effort is made to keep our training and events calendar up to date and accurate, however it is subject to change without notice.

 

Clearwater accepts no liability for any events which are posted on the Clearwater website by a third party.

 

Payment
All paid events require full payment prior to the event date. Our preferred method is cheque. Cheques must be made payable to Melbourne Water.

Paid event cancellation/refund policy

If you cannot attend a Clearwater event, you must contact us by email at least two days prior to the commencement date of the course and request either:


a) A full refund of event fees;
b) Transfer (re-scheduling) to a another event; or
c) Substitution of another person to attend the nominated event.

If you contact us less than two days prior to the commencement date of the event, no refund or transfer will be available.

 

Paid event cancellation policy

Strict minimum and maximum numbers apply to training events. An event may be cancelled or postponed if the number of attendees is less than the minimum number of attendees required. Clearwater reserves the right to cancel a paid event due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, confirmation will be sent one week before the event (at the latest) to confirm that the event is being cancelled or postponed. A full refund or transfer (re-scheduling) to another event will be available.

 

Unpaid event cancellation policy

Clearwater reserves the right to cancel an unpaid event due to unforeseen circumstances. This information will be made available to the public on the Clearwater website. It is the registrant's responsibility to check the Clearwater website prior to the event date.
