This is the second of two short animated videos produced by the Australian Car Wash Association (ACWA) and forms part of a broader stormwater pollution educational awareness campaign, The Dirty Truth.
This video raises stormwater pollution awareness on home activities such as the use of garden pesticides and fertilizers, home renovations and painting, motor vehicle engine oil contamination, and general littering. The first video uses car washing to show how the waste water flow from home car washing connects directly to the local creeks, rivers and seashore.
This initiative is led by ACWA with funding support from the Victorian Department of the Environment, Land, Water and Planning and additional support from Stormwater Australia, EPA Victoria and the RACV.
