The Interview Series brings to life each stormwater champion's experiences, motivations and challenges in gaining support for WSUD within their organisation. Penny Mueller works at Moonee Valley City Council as the Sustainability Officer.
Penny discusses how her role is one of WSUD facilitation and how good communication can overcome obstacles. She discusses how Melbourne Water has assisted with the development of strategies and projects and how this has enabled projects like Afton St Wetlands. The interview conveys the degree of public support and confidence in Moonee Valley's WSUD initiatives. Penny's role as an enthusiastic champion is clearly playing a vital role in building WSUD support externally and internally.
