On Friday May 28th Clearwater in partnership with Melbourne Water presented the Hot Topic seminar “Green spaces as part of a Water Sensitive Landscape”. Speakers included academic researchers, industry experts and local government practitioners. Using research, case studies and strategies by local government a compelling case was put forward for establishing green spaces and infrastructure into the built environment.Discussion included research showing multiple sustainability and health benefits of green spaces, the integration and connection of water sensitive urban design and green spaces and developing a a vision for how green spaces are an integral part of sustainable urban water management and a water sensitive city
