ArrayUrban Stormwater Best Practice Environmental Management Guidelines (BPEM)

These Guidelines have been developed through a collaboration between State Gvernment agencies, local government and leading research institutions. They have been designed to meet the needs of people involved in the planning, design or management of urban land uses or stormwater drainage systems. They provide guidance in ten key areas with a focus on managing the quantity and quality of stormwater so that environmental performance is improved and receiving waters are protected.
BPEM guidelines can be downloaded via the CSIRO website.
The BPEM guidelines are currently under review by the State Government - Office of Living Victoria. It is expected new Guidelines will be released in 2015.
