Latest guidance and updates
In July 2024, Melbourne Water updated the guideline and templates. For further information about the 2024 update, refer to the MUSIC Modelling Guideline 2024 - FAQs.
Clearwater aims to maintain up-to-date resources and information, but users should always refer to the Melbourne Water Guidelines page for the latest guidance.
Historic guidelines (for reference only)
Please be aware that Melbourne Water no longer accepts new models developed using historic templates or guidance.
For those who need to understand older models, Clearwater provides an archive of past guidelines. These documents explain the standards used at the time and can help interpret past modelling decisions. While they have been superseded, they remain available as a reference for modellers and designers. You can find these under ‘supporting documents’ on this webpage.
