Guidelines for validating treatment processes for pathogen reduction: Supporting Class A recycled schemes in Victoria

These Guidelines set out a process for validating treatment processes for pathogen reduction to support Class A water recycling schemes in Victoria. These guidelines will be useful for projects using Class A recycled water in Victoria for dual pipe residential developments, public open space and food crop irrigation, toilet flushing in commercial buildings, industrial applications and even snow-making.

The guidelines were developed Department of Health with support from Water Futures Pty Ltd and Smart Water Fund.
