ArrayMelbourne Water stormwater offset contribution calculator

Melbourne Water has recently updated its stormwater contribution calculator and application form to accommodate changes to the Victorian Planning Provisions in relation to stormwater management (Amendment VC154).
While the majority of development achieves compliance with these provisions, there are some instances where onsite stormwater treatment isn't practical or feasible. Melbourne Water offers an optional 'offset' service to help those developers who would otherwise be unable to meet the best practice standards on site.
The financial contributions gathered as part of this offset service are used to undertake stormwater management works in other locations. These works ‘offset’ stormwater impacts not treated within the development.
