Dear Clearwater Newsletter Subscriber Welcome to the latest update from the Clearwater team. Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who participated in our market research survey. Survey winners have been notified and key findings will be published on our website and also presented at the WSUD Conference in October. Findings from the survey will be used to shape the future direction of Clearwater to ensure we offer you the most relevant services now and into the future - watch this space!
We are excited to announce new Biofiltration Guidelines Training being offered across two days and for a limited time. Based on the Adoption Guidelines for Stormwater Biofiltration Systems by the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities, our training will have industry experts and leading researchers present new information on biofilter design, construction and performance. Submissions close this month for a number of key State Government water strategies, including Melbourne Water's Draft Flood Management Strategy – Port Phillip and Westernport and the State Environment Protection Policy Review. Presentations and a workshop summary are available from our recent partnership event with Stormwater Victoria on WSUD Asset Management - Defining the Problem. New approaches were trialed and thinking challenged, as participants were guided through a problem definition toolkit. We feature a number of industry events, new publications and resources, including our new case study on the City of Port Phillip's Streetscale WSUD Design Review.
Finally, this will be my last newsletter until I return from maternity leave. I would like to wish you all a wonderful year ahead and look forward to seeing the inspirational work continue. Many thanks, Mel Cordy + Clearwater team
