Dear Clearwater Newsletter Subscriber, In our last e-news we shared that Clearwater, DELWP and other key stakeholders are currently developing tools to help the industry understand and apply the new stormwater planning provisions. There is a strong role for peer to peer learning and information sharing to support local government in this process so Clearwater have organised a local government focused session. Local government staff have a last chance to register for Applying the Stormwater Planning Controls :The Moreland experience. We encourage all councils to continue to share emerging resources and learnings through the Clearwater website. Kat Hawkins' from Clearwater presention (delivered with Rachelle Adamowicz from Melbourne Water) on Construction Hold Points for Bio retention systems and wetlands training was enthusiastically received at the Stormwater Victoria annual conference in early June. The good news is you have an opportunity to attend a public delivery of this training in late August. Register now as places are limited.
