Clearwater News and Events

Dear Clearwater Newsletter Subscriber,

Welcome to Clearwater's last newsletter for 2017.

2018 events

We are excited to announce our new Masterclass series. In partnership with the Monash Sustainable Development Institute we will deliver four interactive and locally relevant one-day masterclasses in locations across Victoria between February and June 2018. The following classes will be held in Traralgon, Benalla, Melbourne CBD, Horsham, and Ballarat:

  • Masterclass 1: Planning for resilient and liveable cities and towns
  • Masterclass 2: Collaboration: within and outside your organisation
  • Masterclass 3: Building a successful business case
  • Masterclass 4: Communication and influence

To welcome 2018, Clearwater and Stormwater Victoria invite you to Water Drinks at the Boatbuilder's Yard on February 12th. Come along to learn about how to more effectively engage community on the Integrated Water Management journey. Be sure to book your tickets early as our February event is often booked out.

Looking ahead to May 2018, Clearwater will be partnering with Waterlution to deliver a range of site visits for the exciting Water Innovation Lab: a platform aiming to help participants build new relationships, accelerate knowledge sharing, aquire transferable leadership skills, and co-develop potential solutions to water challenges across the globe. Registration for the Innovation Lab closes December 20, so get in quick.

New resources

We've got a range of new resources below, including a fantastic video delivered with Collabforge: How do you know when to collaborate? This is the first installment of our new video series, Plan to Collaborate, providing tips and tricks for collaborating with your project partners.

The Clearwater team would like to wish you all a safe and happy festive season. Thanks for all of your support in 2017, and we look forward to working with you in 2018.
