The 2012 study tour is excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills, learn about water sensitive cities, see what change looks like on the ground, and develop strong networks within Australia and overseas.

Wednesday the 12th of October 2011Clearwater, in partnership with eWater delivers a range of software training courses that models urban stormwater drainage, and assists the decision making process for stormwater management and Water Sensitive Urban Design. Courses include Stormwater modelling, Advanced Stormwater modelling and Urban Developer.

Friday the 14th of October 2011Clearwater's latest tour highlights an array of WSUD stormwater treatment measures and harvesting systems across the City of Stonnington & Port Phillip. Council experts and design consultants will be onsite to provide insights into the development and management of each project, discussing challenges, learnings and outcomes from concept to completion.

The Australian Government is calling for applications for funding to support eligible stormwater harvesting and reuse projects under the National Urban Water and Desalination Plan: stormwater harvesting and reuse grants round. Projects are sought that capture, treat and use stormwater to ease the pressure on drinking water supplies and deliver improved water quality to our urban waterways.

CSIRO are conducting a research project on management and operational issues in grey water and stormwater systems. The research is being undertaken to help further their understanding and knowledge of these decentralised water management systems.
