Water Leader Scholarships 2020/21

Clearwater and the International WaterCentre (IWC) are partnering to offer two scholarships for Victorian applicants; one full scholarship for emerging Indigenous water leaders, and another full scholarship for emerging water leaders from metropolitan Melbourne to participate in the next intake of the IWC Water Leadership Program.

Calling emerging water leaders

This award-winning professional development program helps emerging leaders develop the abilities they need to influence, drive change and advance integrated water management projects.

Designed for emerging water leaders at the project-to-middle management level, this 9 month program is customised for the water sector through sound research and collaboration with experienced industry practitioners and will assist organisations to deliver Water for Victoria.

Clearwater is providing two scholarships for Victorian applicants (each valued at $12,500) - one full scholarship for emerging Indigenous water leaders, and another full scholarship for emerging water leaders from metropolitan Melbourne working for a local government, water authority or catchment management authority.

For further details and to submit your application, visit the IWC website, watch the video recording / scan through the slides of the Water Leadership Program webinar with Andre Taylor from 13 July 2020.

Who should apply?

To support the adoption of IWM across Victoria, one full scholarship is reserved for an Indigenous Australian working for a local government, water authority or catchment management authority anywhere in Victoria, and the other full scholarship is reserved for emerging water leaders working for a local government, water authority or catchment management authority in metropolitan Melbourne.
