Moonee Valley Council commences WSUD Developer Voluntary Contribution Scheme

City of Moonee Valley have joined City of Kingston in offering a WSUD Developer voluntary contribution scheme for developers.

Moonee Valley's voluntary scheme came into effect on 1st of July. It allows planning applicants to offset up to 20 per cent of their on-site stormwater requirements through a financial contribution to Council. Council will use these funds to deliver large scale WSUD projects that deliver an equivalent stormwater quality benefit. Projects funded from these contributions will be additional to works council already has planned to meet their stormwater targets.
