Invitation to contribute to research on water sensitive cities

The CRC for Water Sensitive Cities are seeking industry representatives to participate in a survey on planning frameworks for water sensitive urban design.

PhD Candidate Don Williams, Monash University Law Faculty, is investigating the planning frameworks that support water sensitive urban design and the capacity of these planning frameworks to influence the implementation of water sensitive urban design. The research, supported by the Law Faculty and Maddocks in Victoria, will also seek to understand industry awareness of potential amendments to planning frameworks to enhance the ability of these frameworks to drive water sensitive urban design.

Industry representatives based in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria are sought from all disciplines to participate in a survey. Those working in state or local governments involved in developing or reviewing water-related planning frameworks are especially encouraged to respond.

To have your say and to contribute your experience to this research, please contact Don Williams drwil10@student.monash.edu by 9 May 2014.
