Green roof celebration

The Growing Green Guide, the comprehensive guide to green roofs, walls and facades in Victoria, was released today at a launch celebration on the green roof at the University of Melbourne's Burnley campus. Developed in collaboration with a wide range of industry experts, the guide details how to design, construct and maintain this type of green infrastructure, and includes a number of Victorian case studies and a summary of some relevant research findings.
The release of the Growing Green Guide is the culmination of more than two years of work by the Inner Melbourne Action Plan councils (Yarra, Port Phillip, Stonnington and Melbourne) and the University of Melbourne. The project was supported with funding from the Victorian Adaptation and Sustainability Partnership.
