Help shape the future of water sensitive urban design! Are you working on the management of water sensitive urban design (WSUD) systems such as rain gardens, retention ponds, swales etc... ?
The University of Melbourne's Waterway Ecosystem Research Group wants your valued feedback on the nature-based stormwater solutions you operate.
As part of an international research group working on stormwater asset management, your feedback is important to help model the impact of maintenance practices on the long-term performance of nature-based stormwater solutions.
This research contributes to Emma Girot's PhD thesis, which aims to develop a tool to guide operators and managers in planning maintenance strategies. The ultimate goal is to ensure the long-term effectiveness of WSUD systems in protecting against flooding, preserving ecosystems, and improving human health and well-being.
Please take a moment to fill out the survey. It's available online in 9 languages and closes Friday 31 January 2025.
On behalf of Emma and the other researchers, thank you for your insights. Please feel free to share with other managers and operators.
