Flood resilient guideline to retrofitting your home

Melbourne Water in collaboration with the City of Port Phillip have launched an easy-to-follow guide for homeowners who have experienced flooding and want to reduce the impacts of future flood events. The guide demonstrates how homeowners can retrofit their home to save long-term costs by avoiding temporary relocation and repairs.
The guide covers planning issues, insurance and flood resilient design, strategies to flood resilience and design examples.
