Clearwater welcomes Charlotte Beresford as Program Coordinator for Regional Victoria

Clearwater

We are excited to announce Charlotte Beresford as the new Clearwater Program Coordinator for Regional Victoria. Charlotte will lead our Regional Victoria Integrated Water Management (IWM) capacity building program; a joint initiative with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.

Originally from the Northern Territory, and entering the water sector as a Waterwatch Coordinator in Katherine, Charlotte has since gained over 10 years experience working in Brisbane. In her most recent role with the International WaterCentre, Charlotte led the training portfolio; building capacity for both domestic and international audiences, designing and/or facilitating study tours and training programs in all things IWM including flood risk management, sustainable water supply, waste water management, groundwater management and irrigation practices to manage water scarcity. While not directly experienced in some of these areas, Charlotte thrives on stakeholder engagement, specifically, understanding stakeholder needs, adapting programs in response and connecting stakeholders to relevant experts.

With over eight years experience working at Brisbane City Council, Charlotte has had direct experience in delivering IWM outcomes related to waterway health and catchment management, water sensitive urban design, development planning and regulation, urban design and stakeholder engagement and understands the challenges associated with delivering integrated outcomes.

Charlotte spends most of her free time exploring new places and environments; the new role with Clearwater offers the perfect opportunity to create new networks and explore regional Victoria.
