Clearwater highly commended in 2022 Stormwater Victoria Awards

Clearwater and DELWP were highly commended in the 2022 Stormwater Victoria Awards in the Excellence in Policy / Education category. The Awards Ceremony took place at Novotel Geelong on Tuesday, 7th June 2022

The award was granted for excellence in stormwater planning capacity building initiatives for urban developments in Victoria. A range of learning sessions and online resources have been developed and delivered in collaboration between DELWP and Clearwater. These capacity building initiatives support urban development applicants and council planning assessors to meet Victoria’s stormwater planning requirements under the Victoria Planning Provisions for cooler, greener environments and healthier waterways and bays.

  • Optimal Stormwater and City of Casey Council, winning the Excellent in Asset Management category for the Optimization, Improvement, Capacity Building and Education on the Maintenance of the City of Casey Stormwater Treatment Assets project
  • Stormy Water Solutions, winner of Excellence in Policy or Education category for Drainage System Design and Water Sensitive Urban Design Training Courses
  • Engeny Water Management and Yarra City Council, winning the Excellence in Strategic or Master Planning category for Prioritising IWM Opportunities in Inner Melbourne project
  • Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, Rye Community Group Alliance, Engeny Water Management, Melbourne Water and DELWP, winning the Excellence in Infrastructure category for 'A Coastal Wetland' - The First Coastal Bioinfiltration Basin on the Mornington Peninsula
  • Storm Consulting, winning the Excellence in Integrated Stormwater Design category for Pettinella Farm Wetland
  • Moonee Valley City Council, Greater Western Water, Melbourne Water and Engeny Water Management, highly commended in Integrated Stormwater Design category for Woodlands Park Stormwater Harvesting and Greening Project
  • Cleanstormwater, winning the Excellence in Research and Innovation category for development of STORMupdated: Online Tool for Water Quality and On-Site Detention Modelling and Compliance
  • E2Designlab, Spatial Vision, Hansen Partnership and City of Port Phillip were highly commended in Excellence in Research and Innovation category for Permeability, The New Frontier in Stormwater Management
