ABC creates an augmented reality town to demonstrate climate change resilience

Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)

A digital media team at the ABC have produced the Mt Resilience Augmented Reality storytelling experience to explore a way of living with big weather and climate change.

The virtual reality 3D mini town demonstrates that resilience is not just about disaster preparedness, but an overall vision of how we can mobilise ourselves and communities to create change.

The last episode , launching this week, includes scientifically accurate animations of bushfires and storms voiced by ABC News Breakfast weather presenter, and five animated adaptations that highlight aspects of resilience woven into a narrative.

You can explore the town by tapping on the URL or scanning the QR code on your device.
