Clearwater and Stormwater Victoria host a tri-annual networking event for practitioners involved in stormwater management and Integrated Water Management (IWM). We call it 'Water Drinks' but don't despair - wine and beer are on the menu.
This popular drinks event is an opportunity to connect with colleagues in the industry and to share ideas, experience and perspectives in an informal environment.
February 2020 drinks will be held in the delightful riverside Decks room at the Boatbuilders Yard on South Wharf. The event will include an entertaining interview style presentation on practical WSUD research projects being led by the Melbourne Waterway Research-Practice Partnership and the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities.
You will also have the opportunity to play with a new augmented reality WSUD digital learning tool. The tool actively demonstrates to users how to construct a raingarden and checks their learning outcomes at completion of the task.
Cocktail snacks and two drinks of your choice.

“I met sooo many new people.”
“I find it a great way to touch base with people in the industry I don't often get to see in person.”
“I think this is a great, accessible opportunity for all sectors of the industry to get together. The informality helps to break down barriers and the food and drink gets the conversation going. The regular occurrence and late afternoon start makes it more workable for people to drop-in/drop-out according to their other commitments. I hope these events continue well into the future.”
