The delivery of WSUD outcomes is generally a requirement of contemporary legislation, regulation and/or planning policy, often delivered through strategic and statutory planning and development mechanisms. While the objectives or requirements may be embedded in these tools, their delivery is often challenged by varying site contexts and conditions, competing objectives and the desire for low cost and timely approvals and construction.
This webinar will share the journey of a number of great WSUD projects across the country, to answer the question: what makes a project a WSUD success? Is it a strong, regulatory framework with well-defined outcomes or is it a result of the perseverance of a project champion or organisation, or a well-connected and active community? The speakers will discuss projects from their state, outlining the processes undertaken, project success factors and key learnings.
There will be a panel discussion at the end, inviting questions from the audience.
