WaterRA, in partnership with the Water Industry Consortium and Cooperative Research Centre for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (crcCARE), has just released a report examining how PFAS moves through water and wastewater treatment processes.
This research forms part of a broader program delivered by the crcCARE and provides essential insights into the behaviour and management of PFAS in water and wastewater systems.
The report compares Australian and global PFAS regulations, assesses the effectiveness of different removal technologies and their impact on the environment, and points to future research directions needed for effective PFAS management strategies.
Registrations are now open for their webinar PFAS IN THE AUSTRALIAN ENVIRONMENT: GAPS, RISKS, AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS on the 31st March, held collaboration with PlanetCare Academy.
